It seems far from the beaten path, but the Shepherd community is actually just minutes away from grocery stores, shopping malls, pharmacies, and other conveniences.  The airport and a bus terminal are just beyond the serenity of this quiet neighborhood, as are excellent roads, including State and Interstate highways.
